[ Defeat all enemy players. Be careful, there's no respawning! If the time runs out, the team with more players alive win.

Arena is a gamemode where both teams are tasked to eliminate each other. There is no respawning in this mode; if someone dies, they will remain in spectate mode until the next round. The team that successfully eliminates the other team wins.

Each round has a timer of 5 minutes. If the timer runs out, then the team with the most players alive will be awarded the win, or if both teams have the same amount of alive players, a stalemate occurs. There is also a control point, typically located at the center of the map, that will unlock after a certain amount of time has passed in a match. The team that captures this point automatically wins.

This gamemode applies a unique mechanic called First Blood where the player who gets the first kill of a round is awarded with critical hits for a few seconds. Maps for this gamemode are also modified to where health packs are replaced with ammo packs and players can enter the enemy team's spawn doors.

Originally, the only map for the gamemode was Harvest, which was slightly altered so that players could not enter the roof of the control point shed. This was because the control point could not be captured unless you were a Trooper, Annihilator or Flanker. This made it so that you could not enter the shed and cause a stalemate. Afterwards, Harvest was removed from the rotation due to criticism and a proposed redesign was considered. Since Harvest was the only map supporting Arena mode, it took the gamemode with it.

On February 8, 2021, several maps were made available to play with this gamemode via private servers. On the contrary, Arena was unplayable in all public servers, rendering it a private server only gamemode.

On June 11, 2021, the Arena gamemode was brought back into the public rotation, along with some maps respectively. The map voting system has a 1/5 chance of including Arena.

Upon the game ending each player will see a message that no one else will see, saying they have received funds based on how many points they have. Players get 3 funds for each point they score.

Players who have not yet chosen their classes will become spectators and only players who have chosen their class will remain in the game.

Classes

Strategy

Flanker
The Flanker, with his agility and strong damage, often leads the team with sneaking behind enemy lines and creating chaos, usually taking on weaker classes or important ones first. If a flanker is bothering you, land in high damage shots and force him to retreat.
Trooper
The Trooper is able to take out enemies quickly and destroy Sentry Guns from a distance, and his high health pool and damage makes him a dangerous threat. However, unless he has a Doctor, he may not rocket jump, so deal chip damage and dodge his projectiles or even surf them. Make sure to be wary of him and sneak behind enemy lines to take him by surprise.
Arsonist
The Arsonist is essentially a more mobile Brute with the tradeoff of lower damage and health. A skilled Arsonist can airblast projectiles from explosive classes such as Trooper and Annihilator. However, its lack of ranged options leaves it helpless in the open.
Annihilator
The Annihilator can set up stickybomb traps and deal high concentrations of damage suddenly. He could also lob grenades and quickly blast enemies, making him a dangerous threat. However, even the best Annihilator's can have difficulty hitting high speed classes such as Flanker or airborne Troopers and Annihilators.
Brute
The brute is powerful in close quarters combat with his high damage minigun and shotgun as well as the largest health pool out of all the classes. However, he is much more exposed in open areas with his lack of ranged options.
Mechanic
The Mechanic, thanks to his Sentry Gun, keeps enemies away and when his sentry gun is upgraded, practically locks a location from being accessed. However, if he is killed first, his sentry gun automatically goes down with him. Make sure to prioritize his death over others.
Doctor
The Doctor is arguably the most valuable class with the right team. He can overheal his teammates, allowing them to freely tank damage when pushing and allow explosive classes to blast jump without actually losing health. Although unlikely, if he has a full SuperCharge, he could push in with invincibility and wipe out the enemy team in seconds. Make sure to prioritize him especially and kill him early in the match.
Marksman
The Marksman is excellent for killing enemies from afar, and is especially strong due to enemies always spawning on the other side of the map. His headshots can instantly wipe out valuable classes such as Doctors and Mechanics. However at close range, his weapons are less deadly. If he is carrying lemonade, make sure to avoid getting in range of his melee.
Agent
The Agent is capable of hiding indefinitely with the abundance of ammo packs and is able to take out players instantly with a backstab. When in trouble, they can quickly take out their revolver and gun you down. Focus on hints that lead you to finding the Agent's position and attack the Agent while she is most vulnerable.
