The Assault was a extra class in Typical Colors 2. She functions as a generalist, using medium-range automatic weapons to fight enemies.

Her stats make her an effective if simple class that can work on most gamemodes. Her primary weapon, the M16A1 can deal devastating damage at medium ranges. The class is focused primarily around automatic, tracking-based weaponry not unlike the Brute, however, Assault has lighter weaponry and faster speed in comparison.

Her secondary weapon, the Pistol, further emphasizes her role as a mid-range combat class. Due to her good range, she can be effective against classes that rely on close-range combat such as Arsonist or Brute, and her stats make her a good all-around class with no shining weaknesses. However, her lack of mobility options should be noted.

Trivia[]

  • Assault originated from an inside joke in the TC2 Discord Server where the AI ChatGPT was asked to describe the classes of Typical Colors 2. Among other inaccuracies, it mentioned an "Assault" class that at the time did not exist.[1]
  • Assault's design was conceptualized by j_acksito, with Agrovient taking inspiration from the design to create her in-game character model.[2]
  • If the character render in the inventory fails to load, Assault will sometimes be used as a placeholder.[3]
  • Assault's viewmodel arms are the same as Delinquent.
  • Assault's HUD render was a decal that is now content deleted.[4]
  • Assault uses the same face as Agent.
    • The face never changes based on the team she is on.
