Badwater Event is a Payload map. It is the Halloween variant of Badwater.
This map has several pumpkins scattered across the map, some of which have sticks of dynamite strapped to them. Hitting these pumpkins with a weapon will make the pumpkin explode, dealing damage and inflicting knockback to all nearby players. They will regenerate after a while.
Players on this map have a chance of dropping pumpkins when killed. These pumpkins can be collected, and the person who collected it will receive guaranteed crits for a few seconds.
Tips[]
- Due to this being a reskin of Badwater, all tips that are there, apply here.
- Shoot the pumpkin bombs to kill enemies from far away. They will always deal mini-crit damage, enough to kill even a Trooper.
- You can use the pumpkin bombs as blast jumps for classes who don't have many great movement options, such as Doctor or Arsonist, assuming they don't use the Detonator. Note that this will take away a lot of health, so be sure to find a health kit right after doing this.

Trivia[]
- Outside of RED team's spawn and out of bounds, there is a cemetery. All but one tombstone is left unmarked.
- Said tombstone is easy to identify, as it is tipped over on its side.
- It reads, "omqitsjay - died from being a loser", which is a reference to the game's most notorious exploiter.

Bugs[]
- Shooting the pumpkin bombs with the Rocket Jumper and the Sticky Jumper can still detonate them.
- Outside of Typical Horrors, the pumpkins seem to be broken and will not detonate if shot at or attacked.
