The Battalion's Backup is a secondary weapon for the Trooper. It is a military-mounted radio transceiver with a folded banner beside it. When deployed, Trooper holds a small bronze bugle.

This item grants you an additional 30 health letting you survive many health thresholds (Example: 2 grenades, 2 point blank lever shotgun shots)

Upon filling the rage meter, both the user and nearby teammates will only take 50% damage from sentries, 35% from other sources (increasing your effective HP to 354) and nullify critical damage into standard damage.

Tips

• This weapon is useful for rushing sentry nests or as a defensive stand.
• As a "Trollper", this can be used as a replacement to the Mantreads as not only can you take more risk, but you're also able to regroup with your team whilst buffing them.
• Holding down MOUSE 1 after Trooper has blown the bugle will delay the effect until MOUSE 1 is released. Use this to your advantage.
  • This works with the Buff Banner and Concheror as well.
