The Big Guy is a passive primary for the Brute. It is a pair of dark-colored pauldrons with spikes and black straps.

It grants the user a 10% bullet resistance and increases their maximum health to 450, though it decreases healing from all healing sources except health packs by 33% and the user cannot be overhealed.
