The Blackbox is a primary weapon for the Trooper. It is a heavily modified M202 FLASH rocket launcher with a jet-black color scheme and white straps wrapped around the front of the barrel.

It restores the user's health by up to 20 health points per hit at the cost of a 25% smaller clip size. If an Arsonist reflects the rocket, said Arsonist will gain the health instead of the user, should it hit someone.

It's designed to increase the sustainability of the player using it, allowing them to stay on the battlefield much longer without the assistance of their teammates.

Although losing one rocket might not seem like much, it can really make a difference. By losing one rocket, mobility is further limited and overall damage output is reduced. It can be very strong in certain situations but it's important to remember that enemies can very easily out-damage the Blackbox's healing.

Tips

  • Don't charge head-first into the enemy line, 2-3 enemies can simply kill you on the spot before you get a chance to heal yourself.
  • Play carefully, you only have 3 rockets instead of the usual 4, make each and every shot count, but don't be afraid to make more ambitious pushes.
  • This weapon can be paired with the Concheror for an optimal amount of self-healing.

Trivia

  • The previous 2018 model was taken from a model on the Creator Marketplace created in 2014 called Black Box for Bluetoad1222.
  • The 2016 model was the same as the Rocket Launcher's previous model but recolored.
