The Block-17 is a primary weapon for the Agent. It is based off the Glock 17 with some aspects from the Mateba MTR-8.
It deals mini-crits while disguised, pierces damage resistances, and deals full damage to sapped sentry guns. However, it fires 20% slower and the user is more vulnerable to all damage sources by 20% while disguised.
This loadout requires full usage of the utility tools to be effective, cloaking to be sneakier, and disguising to receive the unique damage bonus while also destroying sentries slightly faster, while making usage as a backup weapon slightly harder and forcing disguised Agents to be sneakier.

Tips
- The Block-17 is the best weapon to use against anyone who finds out you're an Agent. Once you're disguised, the next shot that rings out from the Block-17 will deal a great amount of damage, allowing you to get a headstart on the fight.
- Remember that the Block-17 does not have a damage penalty, but instead a health penalty on disguises. Don't be afraid to exploit the mini-crit ability.
- This weapon pairs best with the stock Knife, since it has no health penalty and is a more consistent option compared to the likes of the Icicle, Swift Stiletto and Conniver's Kunai.
- This weapon can also work fine with the Conniver's Kunai after a kill, since the extra health gained after a backstab can mitigate the damage vulnerability upon disguising. However, you must be extremely wary as you are taken to the lowest possible effective health of 56.
- This can work well for a "run and gun" playstyle where you mainly use your gun for attacking, as getting mini-crits can be beneficial for picking off weakened targets or even engaging higher health targets.
- This also pairs well with the Your Eternal Reward, as the bonus damage paired with the mini-crit on disguise allows you to kill enemy Doctors in two shots instead of three in close-range, and the damage resistance from disguising as a defense class can mitigate the damage vulnerability.
- Despite supposedly dealing minicrits while disguised, the Block-17's disguise-minicrits lack the "no falloff" attribute brought about by standard minicrits. Due to this, you should treat this weapon's core gimmick moreso as a "35% damage bonus while disguised" as opposed to "minicrits while disguised".
- However, minicrits brought about by Buff Banners, Blood Doctor super charges, Lemonade, etc strangely do not suffer from this.

Bugs
- Despite the stats saying 20% damage vulnerability while disguised, it displays a 19% damage vulnerability on the HUD.
- Minicrit damage dealt by this weapon while disguised will be subject to damage falloff.
- This only applies to the minicrits brought about by disguising, however. Any minicrits obtained by non-disguising means will still be damage falloff.
