The Blutsauger was a primary weapon for the Doctor. It was a gray automatic pistol with a large barrel.
It gave 3 health per hit but decreased the Doctor's passive health regeneration from 3 health per second to 1 health per second.
It allowed the user to defend themselves against enemies more successfully, as the Doctor could out-heal the amount of damage dealt to him, but status effects would be a bigger problem as the Doctor could not quickly heal from burning or bleeding as fast as other Doctors.
The Blutsauger was removed during Pre-Rehaul.
