[ Aww, now don't go crying about it! boo hoo! Haahahahaha!
―Annihilator after trolling you with a teddy bear bomb.
]

The Cuteness Overload is a melee weapon for Annihilator. It is a reskin of the Shock and Awe that takes on the appearance of a team-colored stuffed teddy bear that wears Annihilator's signature snow-goggles.

When this weapon hits a player or surface for the first time, the teddy bear's head explodes, leaving the user with a headless teddy bear and a mess of stuffing around the neck.

The Cuteness Overload has a 1 in 60 chance of dropping to a player's inventory in any given round, but if the user scored more than 10 points they will instead have a 1 in 30 chance to get a drop.

Tips[]

This content is transcluded from Shock and Awe § Tips
  • This weapon excels as a last resort melee attack.
  • If paired with the Ragin' Bull, you can get deal 270 damage with a crit, allowing you to kill any non-overhealed class except Brute.
  • Try to avoid situations that would require you attack with it more than once, as even two hits result in less damage dealt than the Broken Sword.
  • It is possible to blast jump with the Shock and Awe if you hit the ground beneath you while crouching.
    • Due to the design of the Shock and Awe, and its lower self-damage, hitting the ground and blast jumping off the explosion is often much more effective than using a grenade launcher for the same task.
  • When paired with the Sticky Jumper, you can easily make use of the "mini-crits while blast jumping" bonus.
    • Alternatively, you could use a grenade launcher to launch yourself and then use a shield to charge at your enemies to get mini-crits.
  • You can kill Arsonists and other Annihilators more easily by first weakening them with a pipe and following up with the Shock and Awe, preferably with a shield to easily close the distance.
