[ The sentry's down!
―Mechanic using his PDA to destroy his sentry.
]

Demolish is the stock PDA weapon for the Mechanic. It is a remote control with four black edges that covers each corners with a team-colored screen and a button used to demolish buildings in need.

It allows the user to obliterate any existing buildings that they have built. It is sometimes better to manually destroy a building rather than leave the area to haul it.

Tips

  • This PDA, along with the Gunslinger and the Avenger, can cause great damage towards the opposition.
    • Destroying a Sentry Gun early with the Avenger can allow you to get revenge crits early.
  • If you know that someone is about to destroy your building and you can't get there in time, make sure you demolish it. Even though you lose your building, the enemy team at least won't achieve anything.
  • If your spawn point moves, it may be a good idea to destroy previous teleporters and other buildings left behind to construct them again, rather than take multiple round-trips to move them to the new spots.
