The Disciplinary Action is a melee weapon for the Trooper. It is a wooden riding crop with a loose leather loop at the end.
It has a 70% longer melee range and upon hitting a teammate, both the player and the teammate in question receive a movement speed boost for 3 seconds. The user also has a 15% faster movement speed while the weapon is deployed, increasing the Trooper's movement speed from 15 studs/second to 17.25 studs/second. Additionally, it has a 25% damage penalty and the user is 25% more vulnerable to damage when the weapon is deployed, making it inferior as an actual weapon and more of a utility tool.
There is an unlisted attribute where the Disciplinary Action holsters 15% slower; similar to Annihilator's long-ranged melee weapons. It also gives a bigger speed boost if the Disciplinary Action is crit-boosted.

Tips
- The longer boost time can allow you to catch up with a teammate easier.
- This can be used as an effective rollout tool for both you and your team; this is more effective on classes with less movement options like a Brute.
- The Disciplinary Action comes in handy if you don't like to rocket-jump, or you rocket-jump too much. If your health becomes low, you can get escape the enemy's grasp by pulling it out to become slightly faster, and it'll be a bonus if you whip a nearby teammate.
- The slightly faster movement speed also helps you to get to a health pack faster, which will help you heal up before an enemy bullet or rocket reaches you and does you in.
- This weapon pairs very well with the Concheror, allowing you to have a 35-40% faster movement speed without already having whipped somebody. However, whipping a teammate will grant an extra 20% movement speed.
- Since the melee holsters slower than usual, you can pair it with the Deathblow to negate the slower holster speed.
