The Escapist's Escapade is a melee weapon for the Arsonist. It is a sign of the famous "running man exit sign", flipped upside down and attached to a metal pole. On the top of the sign, there is a small vent, a red and green button, and a bolt.
While it is deployed, the user's movement speed will increase by 15% and will be granted a temporary speed boost if they hit an enemy. However, it deals 20% less damage and the user is 20% more vulnerable to all sources of damage.

Tips[]
- Whenever you're not in combat, pull this weapon out. It offers invaluable mobility that should not be passed up.
- This is very useful in getting to the front lines if your Mechanic's Teleporter is broken or non-existant.
- With this weapon equipped, you can easily catch up with an Agent who's trying to run away from you, because your 115% is a lot faster than her 107%.
- The Escapist's Escapade is named so for a reason. If you're low on health, use this weapon to escape the enemy and find the nearest health source.
- Remember that you can increase your speed further by hitting an enemy just once.
- Remember that this weapon is a bit weaker in combat. Since it only does 52 damage instead of 65, it will take three hits to kill anyone with 125 HP.
- However, it may still be easy to get a kill. Because hitting an enemy gives you a huge speed boost, you can circle around the enemy you're currently fighting and avoid getting hit, allowing you to kill them quickly and escape the fight alive.
- The damage vulnerability should be taken seriously, as some classes can easily take advantage.
- In the end, the Escapist's Escapade is similar to Trooper's Disciplinary Action.
- They both give you a small speed boost when simply equipped.
- However, Arsonist needs to hit enemies to gain a second speed boost, while Trooper needs to hit teammates.
