The Flare Gun is a secondary weapon for the Arsonist. It is a team-colored flare gun with a dark grey handle.
As the name suggests, it fires a fast-moving projectile Flare that will ignite enemies upon a hit, with the added bonus of dealing critical hits against players that were already on fire.
This weapon shares an attribute that it reloads while it is holstered/not active with the Syringe Crossbow and the Detonator.

Tips[]
- This is an efficient tool for medium range combat as, along with the Detonator, it has a very high range, travelling effectively infinitely assuming it doesn't make any collisions. It also makes for a very effective combo tool, allowing an Arsonist to quickly deal high amounts of damage within their Flamethrower's range.
- Since this is one of Arsonist's projectile weapons, learning to account for distance and aiming accordingly when using this at long range is key for securing kills.
- As the weapon does not need to be manually reloaded while holstered, running out of ammo is less of an issue compared to other secondary options; the Arsonist can immediately start firing as soon as more ammo is found without needing to load the shot.
- The Flare Gun pairs extremely well with the Degreaser and the Thousand Degree Axe. Using these weapons to their fullest potential can net hundreds and hundreds of points of damage.

Bugs[]
- The Flare Gun cannot get more ammo unless the flamethrower has been used.
- The projectile phases through enemies under seemingly random circumstances.
- The projectile is very heavily effected by the user's ping, with high ping causing the projectile to fire extremely long after a mouse press is inputted.
