The Frying Pan is a melee weapon usable by all classes, except for the Mechanic and Agent. It is a cast-iron skillet pan with a small dent on the underside.

This weapon is a reskin of their respective class's stock melee.

It had the unusual price of 49,999 Funds, making it the most expensive weapon and overall item ever available in the Fitten Co. Store.

Trivia

• The backpack description will not be removed when using a Description Tag.
• The model was actually created back on July 3, 2020, alongside with its golden counterpart.
• This weapon has had several description rewrites.
  • "Thanks for purchasing the Frying Pan gamepass in Left 2 Rot 2!" (Original)
    • This gamepass, as well as Left 2 Rot 2, does not exist. This was most likely to match the Team Fortress 2 counterpart's description of this weapon.
    • While Left 2 Rot 2 didn't exist, it referenced Left 2 Rot, one of ROLVe's earliest games, which was a recreation of Left 4 Dead 2.
  • "Soon, we'll be holding a contest to gain a Frying Pan in the Typical Colors 2 Discord server." (Previous)
• Its original price was 50,000 Funds, as it was expected that no one would be able to reach that number to buy it in a matter of days before it was removed from the store.
  • After a wave of backlash, this was lowered by 1 fund to 49,999 Funds, still under the expectation no one would be able to reach the absurd amount of funds.
• Only three people have been known to legitimately purchase or otherwise receive the Frying Pan before it was taken out of the store. Those people are Ivan8690, pheonixmario, and atk_dg. Their pans are still in the Unique quality.
  • It is believed that Ivan8690 was the first non-developer/contributor ever to purchase the Frying Pan with funds, at least based on an unlisted video.
  • atk_dg's Frying Pan is the only pan in the game to have the Collectors quality.
• The Genuine-quality version of the Frying Pan was given to certain users for submitting the best description of the Hat Description Contest.
  • These users were anthonycrafting, BuddyBoiCaleb, frappymc, HeadFullaHats, HeatherKillsPeople, kobbykobstar, KuroPoi, Leverers, Pengy1O, SLUGG_R, TIBBYMAN96, Theterratian, Whatiswm1 and yayforyay1000.
• The Frying Pan used to not be able to taunt kill when equipped as a Flanker.
• Certain players were given a pink-colored Frying Pan with Kirby's face on it. However, the Frying Pan itself is unpaintable.
  • It is based on the Kirby Pan mod from GameBanana.
  • hottknife was given a black-painted Frying Pan with Steam's :steamhappy: emoji on it.
