Halloween 2018 was a major update released on October 19, 2018. This update was accommodated by SpacemanIgloo.

The update featured many new weapons, weapon rebalancing, map revamps, and three more crates.

Tweaked Classes

Class	Changes
Flanker	Change: Undocumented; Received new voicelines.
Trooper	Change: All rocket launchers now use a unique rocket model. (except for the Wrecker's Yard) This is also visible in the viewmodel.
Arsonist	Change: Lowered airblast cost on all flamethrowers from 25 to 20.
Annihilator	Removed: All shields' range buffs while charging.
Mechanic	Change: Undocumented; Received new voicelines.
Multi-Classes	Change: Fixed an exploit involving accuracy and switching weapons.
	Added: All pistols and revolvers (except for the Ambassador) have a increased spread recovery. (from 0.5 seconds to 1.25 seconds)

Flanker	Batarang	Added: Now affected by damage ramp-up and fall-off. (Ramps up to 45 damage at close range, falls off to 15 at long range)
		Changed: Lowered base damage from 50 to 30.
		Changed: Now deals 90 critical damage on hit, regardless of range.
	Mad Milk
		Changed: Debuff lasts based on the enemy's distance from its splash radius. (The closer they are to the splash, the longer the debuff lasts)
Trooper	Market Gardener
		Removed: Range buff while blast jumping.
	Disciplinary Action
		Changed: Consecutive boosts are less effective.
Annihilator	M1 Garandier	Changed: Uses a unique projectile.
	Bloody Bracer	Changed: Increased shield bash damage from 35 to 55.
		Changed: Reduced fire damage resistance from +35% to +30%
Brute	Sub Shotgun	Changed: Replaced health pack on kill with 50% of base health restored on kill.
	Brash Burger	Changed: Changed lunchbox model.
Mechanic	Noisy Cricket	Changed: Increased the metal gain percentage to 70% of the damage dealt. (Can gain up to 22 metal at close range or 8 at long range)
		Added: +50% damage bonus.
		Removed: 20% less accurate.
		Changed: Increased clip size penalty from -25% to -50%
		Changed: +200% slower firing speed. (From +15% faster firing speed)
		Added: -75% max secondary ammo on wearer.
Marksman	Sour Shots	Changed: Can no longer deal critical headshots.
	Lemonade	Changed: Debuff lasts based on its splash radius. (the closer they are to the splash, the more duration the debuff gets)
	Lemoblade	Changed: Increased damage vulnerability from 20% to 30%
		Removed: Undocumented; 10% slower firing speed.
Agent	Revolver	Note: Added a note that it deals 33% less damage against sentries that are disabled by the user's sapper.
	Ambassador	Changed: Increased spread recovery from 0.8 to 0.95 seconds.
		Added: -50% cloak from packs on wearer.
		Changed: Undocumented; The +33% cloak drain rate penalty is now hidden.
Multi-Classes	Deathblow	Added: This weapon deploys 50% faster.
		Added: +50% bullets per shot.
		Removed: -15% clip size.

Overhauled the following maps:

ctf_turbine by ExecutiveKrab.
koth_rooftop and vsb_hungry by DJH_Dylan.

A silhouette of your weapon's name and backpack icon are now visible when switching weapons.
Moved the Pigeon Mask to the Halloween 2018 Costume Crate.

The cosmetic is also Halloween-restricted.

Undocumented

Vintage-quality variants of the Sandman were converted into Vintage-quality Wooden Swords.

Trivia

• This update was released on the same day as Team Fortress 2's Scream Fortress 2018 event.
• Initially, drinking the Witches Brew would perform a sped up version of Brute's eating animation. This is later changed on November 26, 2018.

Bugs

• Because of a specific change, all flamethrowers weren't able to deal damage towards players. This was fixed an hour later.
• During the revamp of Rooftop, players had encountered some gameplay-affecting issues around the map. This was fixed hours later.
