[ What knowledge could it hold?
―Trooper searching through his inventory.
]

The Inventory is a section in the game menu where the player can personally view their cosmetics, purchased crates, purchased weapons, earned weapons and change their loadout for a specific class.

It is currently located in the Team Selection Screen, previously it was located in the menu. Players can view their inventories by pressing the B key.

The inventory has a storage limit of 512 items. However, this can be increased by using a Backpack Upgrade. This upgrades total storage space to a maximum limit of 2048 items, running out of space will show a prompt to buy extra backpack slots for 15 Robux.

Functions[]

Search bar[]

Allows the player to search by the name of the desired item. Items that have a nametag will have to be searched by the name given to them.

Organize Inventory[]

Allows players to organize their weapons, boxes, cosmetics and other items into four factors.

  • Item Type will sort the items by both quality and type, specifically Tools, Weapons and Cosmetics. Items are sorted alphabetically.
  • Date Obtained will sort the items from those obtained recently to the oldest ones.
  • Alphabetical will sort items by their names from A to Z, ignoring qualities.
  • Quality will sort items by quality, specifically Collector's, Unusual, Strange, Genuine, Vintage, Unique and Normal. Within each tier, items are sorted alphabetically.

Class[]

You can click on the class icons or navigate with the keys between 1 and 0 (which is by changing the Quick swap in inventory setting to "Class" to use them) to go to the next or previous class to equip weapons or cosmetics.

Loadouts Bar[]

Loadouts are a function which allows the player to choose which weapons and cosmetics to play with. Slots that have not been altered will display the default cosmetics and weapons for that class. You can change loadouts by using the keys between 1 and 6.

Equipment[]

The equipment is a bar where the player can choose their weapons for their loadout and cosmetics. This only works by choosing a class from the inventory bar. Weapons and cosmetics can be equipped by clicking on their buttons instead of opening with the respective button. When clicking on a weapon or cosmetic and equipping it, the class to the right will display it in their hands, body, or head.

Sell[]

The player can sell their unusuals, weapons, stranges, and cosmetics for funds. In the current state of the game, sell value for items varies on the quality and type of item. You can also sell multiple of the same cosmetics and weapons as long as they are the same quality.

Selling an unusual cosmetic will sell for 1010 Funds, regular cosmetics sell for 10 Funds, weapons sell for 5 Funds and stranges sell for 55 Funds.

Character Preview[]

This function appears when you choose a class, you can see the preview of the class. Using the scroll wheel with your cursor on the character will rotate them, clicking on the class will make them taunt.

Restoring Items[]

If an item has had a Name Tag or Description Tag used on it, you can restore an item back to before it had that applied to it. If it's a unique stock weapon, it will stay in your inventory and just be a duplicate of your stock weapon. However, it will not return the Name Tag or Description Tag to you, effectively deleting them forever.

Tools[]

If the player has a tool in their inventory, it will appear in the all class section. Clicking on them will show an option to use them. The following items will only appear in the all class section:

Bugs[]

  • Despite the inventory's hard item limit of 2048 items, the 'Expand Backpack' icon will still show when an inventory reaches 2048/2048 items.[1]
    • This button is purely visual, and will not prompt the user to buy extra backpack slots upon clicking on it.
  • If the user exits the inventory while applying a tool, the sorting section will disappear. This can be fixed by opening and closing the sell prompt or opening a crate.
