Dorcey is a quality given to developer-exclusive items, with some of them having obscure or special statistics. This quality was originally named ROLVe during the game's previous development by ROLVe.

Dorcey quality items were privately introduced during Pre-Rehaul. In some cases, Dorcey weapons possess a Flying Bits particle effect and the Strange quality.

They may possess ridiculous item attributes, as seen in the backpack infobox; however, it does not mean these additional attributes are part of the Dorcey quality itself, as they can be completely identical to a Normal or Unique quality weapon aside from the name.

The Dorcey Minigun and Dorcey Revolver were temporarily added to the Randomizer weapon pool during the release of Item Schema update for approximately 4 days.

They are distinguished with a magenta name tag in the player's inventory, as the hexadecimal color code for Dorcey items is #A50F79.

Trivia[]

  • The Rocket Launcher2 is the only Dorcey quality weapon to have its existence be publicly acknowledged by a developer of the game, as it was mentioned in the server browser description prior to January 11, 2024 by ExecutiveKrab.
  • The blatantly overpowered weapons with this quality were made to mimic the stats of Team Fortress 2's VALVe Rocket Launcher, wielded by TF2 ex-co-developer Robin Walker.
