Joseph Fitten, the head of Fitten Co., is a boss in Vs. Bosses that is based on the Team Fortress 2 character, Saxton Hale. He is similar to Brute; he's an all-rounded boss with no specialized abilities nor does he have any weakness.

Joseph Fitten is designed to be almost entirely purple, such as his bandana and shirt. He appears to be a senior warrior, evidently on his grey hair and beard. He also wears a darkened version of Marksman's vest and pants.

Raging does not make Joseph Fitten invincible, so players can voluntarily damage him if not stunned. 50% health of any buildings is wiped out within its range and disables them for 2 seconds.

• Through all of Joseph Fitten's variation, some of his accessories were taken from the Avatar Shop:
  • 2022 version: Brown Hair, Red Headband.
  • 2018 version: Dangerous Dude.
• Joseph Fitten's old beard from 2018 was taken from a Creator Marketplace model called Beard.
• Before November 1, 2021, Joseph Fitten was the only boss to not have his own boss theme.
• He has the strongest superjump out of all the main bosses.
• Joseph Fitten's viewmodel was left randomly broken during the Item Schema update until this fixed in the A "Heavy" Update.
• When the Various Visuals update was released, Joseph Fitten was temporarily changed into two identical bosses, with both having their max health reduced in half.
  • Along with this, the second boss was equipped with the Fists instead of the normal Vs. Bosses variation, allowing them to change their melee to any option they wanted.
