The Lemoblade is a melee weapon for the Marksman. It is a shiv that takes some aspects of a lemon.

It deals critical hits whenever it would normally deal mini-crits but it deals 25% less damage, swings 20% slower, and makes the user more vulnerable to all damage sources while deployed.

It is a high-risk high-reward weapon that is best used when paired with the Lemonade or Suppressed Solution. The Lemoblade can deal heavy damage to any enemy who decides to flank them at the cost of making them more vulnerable when trying to dispatch them.

Tips

  • The Lemoblade is a "high risk, high reward" weapon, which means that it will make you more powerful in exchange for a higher chance of death.
    • You now have the ability to turn mini-crits into critical hits, but the -20% damage penalty along with the 30% damage vulnerability will be a nightmare if you aren't playing correctly.
    • Just remember that the downsides only apply if you hold out the Lemoblade. They don't apply to your primary or secondary.
  • The Lemoblade is better if you're fighting on the battlefield with the Huntsman or Poacher's Pride instead of camping in a hiding spot.
    • You'll maximize the potential of dealing crit damage if you're actively moving compared to hiding.
    • The Lemoblade is not a self-defense weapon unlike the Machete, so you should not use this weapon if you're camping and sniping.
  • As with tradition, your secondary should be the Lemonade so that enemies that get debuffed will die quickly to your melee's crits.
    • Be careful though! If you accidentally debuff yourself, the mini-crits on top of your 30% damage vulnerability will make you an easy kill for your foes!
  • If the Lemonade isn't working out for you, there are other weapons you can try:
    • The Suppressed Solution, once you activate the Crits meter, gives all of your weapons mini-crit damage for 8 seconds. The Lemoblade turns mini-crits into crit damage, so these two weapons make a deadly combo.
    • The Sour Shots can not only debuff enemies far away, but also those who sneak-attack you while you're hiding and sniping. You can simply hit a nearby enemy without scoping, then finish them with the Lemoblade.
  • Last of all, do not use the Lemoblade against an Arsonist.
    • Your 30% damage vulnerability will make you die faster to fire and afterburn.
    • Even if you manage to debuff the Arsonist, you'd need to get close to land a hit with the Lemoblade. The Arsonist would simply airblast you away.
