Lunchbox items are a subset of weapons which function as rechargeable consumables. When used, the user will be forced into an uninterruptible animation and receive an effect. Certain lunchbox items, notably those found on the Brute, may have an alt-fire which allows them to be shared with teammates.

Lunchbox items, by default, recharge over the course of a few seconds. Brute's items allow him to recharge them instantly by picking up any health pack while at full health, however.

Items[]

Class Taunt Weapons Notes
Flanker taunt 4 The item's effect will last for 8 seconds once the consumption animation finishes. Nothing happens and you can restart the drinking animation if it is interrupted.
Brute taunt 4 Brute will recover health every second of the taunt, adding up to the total HP healed (excluding items which heal 0 base HP on consumption). If the animation is interrupted, the user can immediately begin eating again, which can allow for more total health gain.

ALT-FIRE also allows the user to throw the item down as a health pack which only his teammates can pick up. The animation speed is halved with the Dire Donut or Tungsten Torus.

Strategy[]

General[]

  • Try to use your lunchbox around a corner or otherwise when not in immediate danger, as you are an easy target while consuming. If using an active weapon like the ROBAR, it may be worth using it closer to the frontline to make more use of it's effect. Be careful, however.
  • If your weapon has an active effect such as the ROBAR or Witches Brew, it is advised to save the item until you can make the most of it's effect.
  • If it's a one-time effect such as the Brash Burger, it is advised to retreat into your team's backlines so you are in the least danger.

Flanker[]

  • Your items can be highly risky, as they can put you in a bad position or even outright killed if used poorly. Learn the map layout and how to effectively dodge attacks to make sure you don't get caught out in a bad spot.
  • Charging at the enemy, with either drink, is a bad idea. Play around the enemy's backline and use your drinks to help in tough situations. You can be more risky with your drinks, as they are consumed faster and allow you to escape danger with their speed boosting effect.

Brute[]

  • Never forget that you can share your food. Unless you are in dire condition and have no nearby Doctor, you may prefer to share your items to heal your teammates. Doctors are target number one for sharing, as they can provide you with infinite healing in return.
  • As you consume items slower than the Flanker, it advised to retreat before consuming. This is highly effective when going around corners into your team's base. The Dire Donut somewhat helps with this, as your time spent eating is cut in half.
