Mad Mechanic (formerly Psychotic Mechanic) is one of the twelve bosses in the Vs. Bosses gamemode. He is loosely based on Freak Fortress 2's Vagineer.

Being the boss counterpart of the Mechanic, Mad Mechanic is colored completely purple and black, such as his black overalls, buttoned shirt, pants, and gloves. He represents a stereotypical mad scientist, evidently on a opened-wide smile of his, spiky brown hair, and glasses instead of goggles.

He has a 100% chance of saying Mechanic's rare voice lines.

Trivia

• Through all of Mad Mechanic's variation, some of his accessories are made by Roblox:
  • 2018, 2022 version: Bed Hair, Secret Kid Wizard Glasses.
    • His hair in-game is black but the render shows the original brown colour of the Bed Hair instead. This is because Mad Mechanic's hair is darkened in game using Roblox's VertexColor system, which do not show up in Blender.
  • 2016 version: Dapper Dan, Inventor Goggles, Builders Club Hard Hat.
• His 2021-Present theme is Guts n' Bolts.
• His 2016-2021 theme was More Gun but played in reverse.
• His 2016 design was previous version of Pre-Rehaul Mechanic's design. However, with the different goggles down.
• Mad Mechanic's sentry was originally going to be semi-transparent, however it was scrapped.
