The Minigun is the stock primary weapon for the Brute. It is a large, Gatling-style M134 machine gun with a long, rotating barrel at its front. Two handles are placed on the gun: a gray one placed at the close end of the barrel, and a black one placed at the rear of the gun, which sports two red switches. A dark green tank is placed on the side of the gun.
The hallmark attribute of the Minigun is its powerful close-range game: the weapon fires four bullets per shot at ten shots a second, and boasts an impressive 200-round ammo capacity, making it extremely deadly should you encounter an enemy at close-range. However, the gun must be spun up for a few seconds before it can be fired; while doing this, the Brute's movement speed is reduced, and he can't move at all while crouching. In addition, the weapon suffers from high damage falloff and a wide cone of fire, though this can be alleviated somewhat by spinning the gun up for at least 2 seconds, which will increase the bullets' accuracy and damage by 50%.

Tips[]
- When using the Minigun, try to stay aware of your surroundings at all times.
- You can keep the Minigun spun up by holding down MOUSE 2, ensuring you are ready at a moment's notice. This can highly useful in holding defense positions.
- Keep in mind that spinning up the Minigun will decrease your movement speed significantly along with producing a loud revving sound that alerts others to your presence.
- You can jump and tap alt-fire to bypass the Minigun's speed penalty while spun up, although this does not limit the volume of the revving sound.
- Keep in mind that spinning up the Minigun will decrease your movement speed significantly along with producing a loud revving sound that alerts others to your presence.
- Work on your timing with the Minigun. When switching from your secondary or melee weapon to the Minigun, it takes at least three seconds to switch, rev up, and fire.
- While you may have a sizable ammo pool, it's important to not waste it on unnecessary targets, such as SuperCharged enemies or enemies at long range.
