The Neek is a cosmetic for all classes. It was added as a part of the first SWISHCAST Collaboration and was awarded from redeeming the codes "swishtheneek" from February 16, 2024 to February 26, 2024 or "danieljcornwallace" from December 6, 2024 to December 20, 2024.

When worn, the character gains a pair of purple-colored headphones, blue glasses, and buck teeth. The SWISHCAST logo also appears on the top of the headband. Marksman rests the headphones on his shoulders while every other class wears them on their head.

This cosmetic has three styles: Glasses/Face, Default Face, and No Glasses. Glasses/Face is the default style.

  • Glasses/Face gives the class both the glasses and face.
  • Default Face will replace the face with the class's default face.
  • No Glasses will remove the glasses and keep the custom face.

The headphones can be painted using Paint Cans.

Trivia[]

  • Neek is a portmanteau of "Geek" and "Nerd", being an inside joke among the SWISHCAST hosts.[2]
    • Nerds and geeks in cartoons are often portrayed with glasses and a single oversized tooth sticking out of the mouth.
  • The original description did not include the text, "Item awarded to those who have good grades and listen to good podcasts."
  • This cosmetic was supposed to be available for only 2 days, but was instead available for 10 days.
    • This was due to the developers forgetting to disable the code.
  • The cosmetic had a placeholder item until the code was revealed. Servers that hadn't reset for some time would still show this placeholder item.[3]
  • Initially, The Neek could be equipped in Marksman's clothing slot.[4]
    • Its icon would also change depending on what clothing image was shown on screen before going back to Marksman's inventory tab.[5]
  • The custom face used to revert to the class's default face if they died. This persisted for the rest of the match and could've only been fixed by changing classes.[6]
  • If the "No Glasses" style was chosen, the glasses would've reappeared on the player's corpse when they died.[7]
