The P.D.Q is a melee weapon for the Mechanic. It is a combination wrench with a team-colored grip.
This weapon swings 15% faster, has a 30% faster construction boost speed, but also possesses a 40% slower repair rate, 25% damage penalty to enemies and deals 30% less damage to buildings. It allows the user to set up a nest quicker, in exchange for longevity.
Although its slower repair rate and damage penalty might seem detrimental at first, their effect are mostly overlapped by the faster swing speed bonus. The damage downside against building forces the user to use 3 hits to take off a sapper instead of the previous 2.

Tips
- This is the ideal weapon if you're a more offensive player, because it lets you build quicker, reducing the pain of moving a nest.
- This is the superior choice in Vs. Bosses, because of how rarely your sentry will ever take damage (and survive).
- The P.D.Q's less repair rate may seem unusable, but combined with the faster swing speed, it leads to a total 90 HP per hit, still less than the stock wrench's 125 HP per hit.
- However, using the Rescue Ranger can balance this out, due to the reduction only affecting the wrench, allowing the Rescue Ranger to help you heal much more.
- The less damage against buildings actually means you take longer to remove sappers.
- 3 hits for stock, 2 for the Slow Burn and 1 for the Stray Reflex.
