The Personal Death Ray is a secondary weapon for the Trooper. It takes the appearance of a futuristic ray gun.

It fires projectiles that can penetrate through multiple targets and explodes in a small area when hitting an object.

The projectile cannot be deflected. It also does not require any ammo, fires 30% faster than the Shotgun and has no damage fall-off or ramp-up at the cost of dealing 80% less damage to buildings, and a 34% smaller clip size.

Tips[]

  • This weapon can be used as a long-range back up damage dealer because of it's lack of damage fall-off, which can be effective against most classes.
  • This weapon cannot be deflected by Arsonists. Use this to your advantage against them if they're good at reflecting your rockets
  • Try not to be tempted to pair the Personal Death Ray with the Friendly Fire Foiler. You may be able to reload faster, but relying on the Personal Death Ray for ranged combat will make you weak enough for enemies to prey on.
    • If you decide to do so regardless, it's best to practice with the weapon's slow projectile and to fight in enclosed spaces or at close-to-medium range to give yourself less trouble trying to hit the enemy.

  • The model was taken from a Roblox gear called the Rogue Bottington Steampunk Zapper on Avatar Shop.
  • Despite the firing speed bonus being buffed to shoot 10% faster (30% in total), the stats remain unchanged.
  • Since the Typical Horrors II update, the projectile lost the penetration ability, dealing 1 tick damage per shot and not 3 to 5.
    • It has since been brought back in the Summer AM patch update.
