The Purple's Top Hat is a developer only cosmetic for all classes.
It is a purple banded top hat with a purple bowtie on top.
The cosmetic itself is a reference to the purple top hat that is commonly seen on DukeAunarky's avatar, a developer who formerly worked for ROLVe, the previous developer of Typical Colors 2.

- This hat's original model was taken from a Roblox item called Purple Banded Top Hat. The model itself has changed since then, but it still remains the icon for the hat.
- Other players have been seen wearing this hat, most notably DukeAunarky's competitive team, The Anarchists.
- People other than DukeAunarky confirmed to have this hat are Blockhead_wav and daviddkingstarman.
- daviddkingstarman's Purple's Banded Top Hat is the first known hat in the game to have the Collector's quality.
- Along with the Troll Faic and other Community and Self-Made cosmetics, the Purple's Banded Top Hat uses custom unusual effects that are not obtainable through crates.
