[ | Ahhhh! Good luck recovering from this one! ―Annihilator decapitating an enemy with a critical swing. ![]() |
] |
The Ragin' Bull is a shield for Annihilator which takes up the secondary weapon slot. It is a wooden shield with a golden rim and emblem resembling the head of a bull, with spikes protruding from the sides of the rim.
It grants a +200% increase in knockback when shield bashing, and the ability to deal mini-crits and critical hits if 25% and 60% of the charge meter is depleted, respectfully.
However, you are unable to turn while charging, even with the Squire Boots equipped, requiring you to be more careful where you are going to charge. The charge meter fully recharges after 12 seconds.

Tips[]
- Before you charge, try to predict where your target will be, since there will be no way to change direction after you start charging.
- Remember that swinging your melee will stop the charge early.
- At the last 0.5 seconds of your charge, you gain full control over your mouse and orientation. Use this to your advantage if your prediction was a bit off and they're off to the side, but still in melee range.
- If you want to make this simpler, consider charging with the Ragin' Bull similar to throwing a bowling ball to some pins.
- Cliffs and out-of-bounds areas of maps are your best friend and worst enemy.
- Because bumping into an enemy while charging knocks them back, you can knock them off a cliff to secure a kill.
- Don't get too cocky though. If you charge towards an enemy and they simply step aside, it's you who will be taking a skydive!
- Due to the larger knockback, it's not a good idea to deal damage via shield bashing, since it gets rid of the chance of getting a crit/mini-crit with your melee, as well as launching your opponent away, not allowing you to follow up on any more melee damage.
- Using the Shock and Awe with this can cause a devastating attack when done right. By charging from a long enough distance into a crowd of enemies (preferably capturing a point), you can use the crits from the shield with the 90 damage explosion on the Shock and Awe do to a 270 damage explosion, killing everything but Brutes (300-450 HP) and overhealed Troopers (300 HP).
- This weapon works extremely well in Medieval, where mostly everyone can only use their melees, this means no one can shoot you as you charge in a straight line, meaning their only choice is to run out of the way.
- In both maps, the points are where everyone is gathered around, and are often too pre-occupied fighting other teammates, dodging Huntsman arrows, or looking for Agents; allowing you to easily close the distance without worrying. In addition, since they need to cap the points, running away isn't too good of an option.
- In the mode, Sentry Guns are disabled, but the other buildings are allowed, meaning you can charge wherever without the fear of being gunned down instantly. This can also lead to moments where people are clustered together around something like a dispenser, making the Shock and Awe really effective. It can also indicate low HP targets running to dispensers, allowing you to charge after them and finish them off with a mini-crit.
- On Hungry, there is an exit underneath the stairs, with a direct line towards the point, giving you a safe and semi-hidden (since everyone is only looking at the top spawn) passage to charge into the point, kill someone with a crit, and escape back into spawn.
- Beware that Annihilator always screams loudly when charging forward. This is a sound that enemies can listen for and will give away your position if they haven't seen you yet.
