[ AHHHHHHH!!!
―Doctor flying into the air with his patient while healing them.
]

The Rejuvenator is a secondary weapon for the Doctor. It is a large, pistol-shaped healing device mainly composed of a white, blob-esque material, out of which four glowing, team-colored diodes poke out of. The handle of the device extends downward from the back of the white substance, while the barrel pokes out of the front.

The Rejuvenator heals players 40% faster and builds the SuperCharge 10% faster, though it can only overheal up to 125% of the patient's max health. It is, however, able to maintain overheal that was achieved from another source since the weapon only provides 125% overheal, thereby putting it lower than the SuperCharge build rate penalty at 142.5% overheal, the Rejuvenator builds SuperCharge twice as fast when continuously healing a single teammate, in addition to the 10% increase in SuperCharge build rate.

Activating the SuperCharge triples the healing rate to the patient and heals the Doctor at the same rate, while also providing immunity to any movement-impairing effects, such as stun, slowdown, and knockback; however, the charge does not decrease incoming damage, making it ineffective against high bursts of damage. When the SuperCharge is deployed, the Doctor and his patient cannot push the cart or capture a control point, though they can carry the intelligence.

Like his other secondary weapons, the Rejuvenator allows the Doctor to match the speed of his patient while healing them. In addition, the Rejuvenator allows the Doctor to copy any blast jump or shield charge his patient performs, sending the Doctor an equal force in the same direction (though the Doctor must take control of his flight after the initial force). This effect only works on Doctors directly healing the patient; it cannot be transferred to a chain of Doctors.

Tips

  • The Rejuvenator's increased healing rate makes teammates recover health ridiculously fast. Even if a teammate is about to die with very low HP, the Rejuvenator only takes one second to heal them back to full HP!
  • Even though the Rejuvenator quickly both heals and builds SuperCharge, its main weakness is overheal.
    • Overhealing to 125% of a teammate's HP can only do so much. When it decays, you'll be back to your original base health sooner.
    • Stick close to your team. That way you can heal all of them quickly and make sure they all stay overhealed.
    • Your SuperCharge building-rate slows down when a teammate reaches 142.5% overheal. However, the Rejuvenator only overheals to 125%, so you can stick to one teammate and still build SuperCharge quickly!
  • While on the battlefield, look for teammates that are Troopers and Annihilators. Healing them with the Rejuvenator allows you to hitch a ride when they blast jump or shield charge.
    • A Trooper or Annihilator blast jumping will automatically throw you in the air with them. A shield charge from an Annihilator will make you have a quick burst of speed.
    • Fun fact: when Annihilator charges with a shield he screams loudly. Doctor while healing said Annihilator will also scream, however his scream is actually the same sound he makes when he dies. Use this to trick nearby enemies into thinking that your team no longer has a Doctor, giving them false confidence.
  • Remember that the Rejuvenator has a unique SuperCharge effect: it dramatically increases your healing rate and makes you immune to attacks that can slow down your walking speed.
    • This means that your SuperCharge won't give you immunity to damage!
    • Your SuperCharge directly counters Flanker's Sandman.
    • Be wary of enemy Agents and Marksmen while SuperCharged. These two classes can one-shot you and immediately stop your SuperCharge's increased healing rate, allowing other enemies to finish off your teammates.
