Shiverift is a map made for the King of the Hill gamemode. The map takes place in a snowy mining site, with the Control Point being found on top of a large snowy hill.

Strategy

• The Control Point is rather boxed-in compared to other KOTH maps, with walls on all corners. Use this to your advantage by using strong area denial such as Stickybombs and Sentry Guns.
• The full ammo box next to the Control Point can be used by Mechanics, to set up a nest more efficiently, or by Agents to more quickly get behind the enemy with their Cloak.
• Due to the large space for backlines, flanking classes may excel in the open area and plentiful flank routes.
• Marksman is not a recommended pick here, due to the closed in geometry surrounding the main control point, and the large hill making it hard to safely snipe enemies.
