The Skullbuster is a primary weapon for the Marksman. It is the Jezail musket with a visual glass ring scope, originated in the Central Asia and the Middle East.
Each scoped headshot kill increases the weapon's charge rate by 25% up to 200%, but the base charge rate is decreased by 50%. It also has a quickscope damage reduction depending on how many Heads you have (capping at 6).
Like all sniper rifles except the Poacher's Pride, it will deal 20% less damage if you hit a target that is less than 40 studs away from the user.
It also has a unlisted stat that allows the player to steal Heads from other Marksmen using the Skullbuster, Souls from Annihilators using the Black Death and Guts from Mechanics using the Gutbuster by killing them.

Tips[]
- The Skullbuster rewards highly skilled and patient Marksmen. This weapon needs three headshots before it becomes a powerful weapon, so be very careful with your aim.
- When starting with zero Heads, aim at Flankers, Mechanics, Agents, and enemy Marksmen. They all have 125 HP, which will allow you to get kills while your Charge meter is very slow. Only take on the other high-health classes once you have at least three Heads.
- This weapon encourages you to be very careful, because being too reckless will punish you heavily. In other words, the Marksman turns from a support class into more of a defense class.
- If an enemy kills you, your Head count gets reset to zero. Don't go for a kill if you know you won't live to tell the tale.
- Quickshots on the Skullbuster have heavily nerfed damage. Because of this, do not use any passive secondary weapons. Use the MAC-10 instead, as it will allow you to fight off enemies who try to sneak-attack you.
- There is a specific target you should try to take down: an Annihilator with the Black Death. Just like you, he also collects Heads upon kill. However, if you manage to kill him, you can steal all of his collected Heads, which will speed up the process of making the Skullbuster over-powered.
- Beware that Black Death-Annihilators can also kill you and steal your Heads! Do your best not to get rushed down.
- You can also target enemy Marksmen also using the Skullbuster, as you can steal their Heads too.
