The Southern Hospitality is a melee weapon for the Mechanic. It is a spiked wrench that deals 5 seconds of bleed on hit, has a 25% faster repair rate and does 100% more damage to buildings in exchange for a 25% slower firing speed and the construction hit boost being decreased by 25%.
This weapon is great for Mechanics who prefer to play defensively. The faster repair rate allowing to keep the sentry up and the bleed on hit allows to easily track Agents trying to sap the sentry makes it great for this playstyle.
However, for an offensive Mechanic, the reduced construction speed boost can be a problem as offensive sentries tend to go down quicker and that downside will just make it harder to get the sentry back up again.

Tips
- Despite the faster repair rate, the slower firing speed actually reduces the wrench's healing per second, giving it 120 HP/sec, compared to the Stock Wrench's 125 HP/sec.
- This is more like a wrench to counter Agents as the bleed on hit can make it easier to track cloaked players and the increased building damage allows you to instantly destroy sappers.
- This wrench is essentially a diet Homewrecker, as the 100% damage against buildings can be helpful if your team can't deal with sentries. However, as a Mechanic, it is not often worth chasing a sentry gun without the assistance of your team, more notably a friendly Doctor.
