Tips[]

General Tips[]

  • The Specialist is made for KOTH, Payload, & CP. It is not good for normal enemy-backline combat.
  • It is best-suited for Attack-Defend and 3-CP, for rushing the other team. It is not as important in KOTH, unless your team needs to make a clutch at the last seconds of the timer.
  • The damage-penalty is significant, hindering your ability to fight Brutes & classes with overheal. However, with the 15% firing speed, you can out-gun Flankers and other light-classes if you hit perfect meat-shots.
    • This weapon is made for actively supporting your team, being offensive but not too aggressive.
  • The knockback vulnerability is this weapon's largest downside. Crossing a sentry's line of sight using the Bloxy Cola with this shotgun equipped leaves you vulnerable to being pinned against a wall or thrown off a cliff depending on the circumstances. Jumping around a revved Brute is ill-advised, and you should fight explosive classes with caution.

Vs. Bosses Tips[]

  • This weapon in Vs. Bosses is nearly identical in use to the Lever-shotgun.
  • In the rare time where a capture point is available, the Specialist is extremely helpful to your team compared to you fighting the boss yourself.
