The Speed Demon is a scrapped primary weapon for the Trooper. It is the Rocket Launcher's 2018 model but entirely team-colored on all parts, excluding the exhaust port, sights handle and trigger, which are painted black.

It fires 15% faster, reloads 30% faster, and increases the user's movement speed by 20%, placing him at 96%. (14.96 studs/second) It also makes the user 50% more vulnerable to all damage sources when deployed.

Despite being scrapped, this weapon can be used by developers and contributors, or is apart of the Randomizer weapon pool and available to be given to custom Bosses.

Trivia

• This weapon was previously tested in the CTE server on September 7, 2019.
  • Due to its stats being considered "unbalanced", it was taken out of the CTE server's shop on the same day.
• There was originally a model designed by CookiesInOJ that was left scrapped with similar elements to the 2019 model of the Double Trouble. It was later used for the Red Rocket.
• TF_Dennis is the only non-developer/contributor to own a Dorcey-quality variant of the Speed Demon.
• This weapon is based off a weapon with the same name from a fanmade Team Fortress 2 update project called The BIGGEST UPDATE EVER v2.
• There was a bug where if you equipped The Speed Demon and changed class, you would spawn with 50% of your health gone.
