The Squid Coil is a melee weapon for the Brute. It is a reskin of the Speed Coil that simulates a purple squid with two tentacles that attaches to the Brute's right arm.
The squid can be painted using Paint Cans.
The Squid Coil could've been obtained during via Item drop during A "Heavy" Update and Summer FM.

Tips[]

- The Speed Coil is best used when running to the objective, most of the time the capture point. The sooner a Brute reaches the point, the more likely his team will win the whole game.
- The "Marked for Death" debuff can also be seen through walls, meaning any competent enemies can quickly ambush and take you out. Know when to deploy the coil to ensure enemies cannot take advantage of this.
- The Speed Coil does not have a damage or swing speed penalty, so it works just like your Fists. Do beware that any damage taken while using this weapon will be mini-crits because of the "Marked for Death" debuff.
- Like the Boxing Gloves, this is primarily useful in Vs. Bosses, rather or not you're being chased.
