The Squire Boots are a pair of boots that take the primary weapon slot of the Annihilator.

The boots increases the user's maximum health by 25, movement speed by 10%, turning control while charging by 200%, and refills the charge meter by 25% upon a melee kill, making this the go-to weapon for pure Anniknights.

Tips

  • If it wasn't obvious already, wearing the Squire Boots is what makes you an Anniknight, instead of a regular Annihilator.
  • The Squire Boots actually help you to fight Flankers better. They may be able to dodge your grenades, but they can go down easily if you rush them down while wielding a sword.
  • Don't underestimate the passive speed boost. Your 103% speed rate makes you just as fast as Mechanics and Arsonists.
    • Do mind that Doctor and Agent are still faster than you with their 107% speed rate. However, your sword's extended hitbox will still be able to hit them if they're just a way off.
    • Though fairly fast, your speed won't help you run away. Use your shield's charge to do so.
  • Although the Squire Boots are designed to work with a shield, you can make use of its +25 max health to reach 200 total HP, while still having a Stickybomb Launcher.
    • The extra health will give you more health to fight with after sticky-jumping, as the explosion and the fall damage can be pretty noticeable.
    • Wearing the Squire Boots and using the Stickybomb Launcher for ranged combat is an actual playstyle, although it rarely has been seen in-game.
  • Use the Squire Boots with both the Tide Turner and Elegant Blade so that kills refill a whopping 75% of your charge meter!
  • When charging forward with shields, the speed boost always stops early if you run into a wall. If you use the Squire Boots, it'll be easier to avoid any obstacles in your path.
