Summer 2021 was a major update that was released on June 11, 2021.
This update included a complete rehaul for UI elements, a new system of earning achievements, new cosmetics, and more weapon balances.

This update has given a complete rehaul to menu screens and HUD elements provided by long-time developer TCtully. The elements are designed to be identified as a mostly gray box with usual light-gray lines in them. These include:

The voting screen has been re-introduced after being absent for 4 years. Adjusted by Aunarky; it has been modernized to have a intro where it spins the brand new Typical Colors 2 logo with a winged-badge that unlocks leaderboard final results and 4 maps to voted for.

In addition, a song known as Pack Your Bags produced by Campyfire, is played in the background.
Arena has been re-added to the voting pool, now popping up within 1/5 chance.
At the time, the screen can only show up in Casual and Vs. Bosses.

The loading screen is introduced to the game, instead of having the map reloaded on-screen while every player falls into a bottomless pit. It displays a brown background with a box that displays the designers of the supposed map.

In addition, tips are added that can be located at the bottom of the screen. It also includes Vs. Bosses tips.

Typical Colors 2 now has its own achievement system optimized by ExecutiveKrab, they will be given upon doing the exact instructions of what the achievement gave you in its respective description. Earning them will alert you and the server in the chatbox, also making the class celebrates by saying their 'Cheers' voiceline.

At the time, there are 33 new achievements available in the roster including 'Legacy Achievements' that are taken from the game's current badges.
While undocumented, the page that provides the listing for achievements also possesses 'Personal Statistics' that tracks your gameplay in a session. Though it was unfunctional at the time.

- This is the first time where a update was promoted by the developers as advertisements could be seen around the Roblox website.
- The re-model of the Grenade Launcher was documented in this update however it was not implemented due to incomplete animations. It was later pushed to next year's Summer update.
