Summer FM (short for Summer, Finally Mobile), also known as Summer 2024, was a major update for Typical Colors 2 that was released on July 13, 2024.

The headlining feature for this update is that the game now has official mobile support, including servers exclusive to mobile and console players that have smaller, less resource intensive maps and less particle effects.

The update also includes new maps, the new Player Destruction gamemode, several animation rehauls as well as other changes.

Gamemodes[]

Player Destruction[]

Player Destruction from Team Fortress 2 is now a new gamemode. The goal of Player Destruction is to kill enemies and pick up a map themed token from their corpse. At certain times during the round, a center capture area will open allowing you to cache in those tokens for points. The goal of tokens to cache changed based on how many players are in the server, the first team to hit the goal wins.

The player on each team with the most currently captured tokens becomes the King, becoming visible through walls and healing themselves for any nearby allies at the rate of a level 1 Dispenser.
