The Tec-9 was the stock secondary weapon for the Marksman during the Pre-Rehaul and Rehaul phases. It was a modified Intra TEC-9 converted to fire in full-auto, attached with an extended 32-round magazine, and no rear sight.
Tips[]
Rehaul Archive[]
- This weapon is hyper-accurate, and has a significantly less devastating falloff range. Do not resist the temptation to fight offensively while copping a scopeless shot from your Sniper Rifle from time to time.
- The Tec-9 makes up for such in accuracy and a lack of camera recoil. The softer sounds of the weapon's discharge and the less disorienting muzzle flash are miniscule, but welcoming effects to boot.
- Turn your graphics to the lowest amount to disable muzzle flash completely.
- Quieter firing sounds allow for quickly being able to compensate for missed shots.
- Sentry Guns are child's play. Instead of waiting three seconds to charge a scoped shot at range, pick it off from a distance and drain the weapon's health, inconveniencing and distracting any opposing Mechanics.
Pre-Rehaul Archive[]
- This weapon relies on the user's tracking to be optimal. Practice with friends until you feel satisfied with your ability.
- The weapon's strong accuracy and damage stats turn your Tec-9 into a wood chipper. Don't be afraid to push with your teammates, you can take up to a Trooper with this weapon.
- You have an extremely large 32-round magazine capacity. Paired with the staggeringly high damage and unparalleled accuracy, you are also able to provide sustained suppressive fire, in case your teammates are occupied.
- Your large magazine capacity can also help ward off Stickybombs from a nearby objective, the buildings of your allied Mechanics, or preserving your own sniper's nest.
- However, sustained fire is not recommended, as rapid-fire is currently broken, and heavily lags the game.
- If you want even more offensive power, consider using the Iron Cover instead.
Trivia[]
- The original description for this weapon was "Automatic Pistol!"
- This weapon originally had 24 bullets in the magazine with 120 ammo in its reserve.
