―Flanker defeating an enemy Annihilator in a sword fight.
]

The Three-Rune Blade is a melee weapon for the Flanker. It is a reskin of the Brooklyn Basher that is a medieval sword with a straight cross guard, a worn black grip, and a round pommel.

The Three-Rune Blade was accidentally put into the shop during an update, it was available for purchase and was quickly removed from the shop on the same day.

However, those who purchased the Three-Rune Blade before its removal from the shop were able to keep the weapon forever.

Tips

  • Time your hits, do not swing it unless you're very sure you can land the hit.
    • Don't rapidly hit the fire button either, your target can die after the first hit, which means you're almost guarantee to hit yourself.
  • If your target has already died and you've already attacked again, quickly flinch to a nearby wall or the floor to avoid hitting yourself. This can avoid taking unnecesary damage after a fight or even dying as a result of the downside.
  • Its downside can be used as an upside to help a friendly Doctor build up SuperCharge faster by rapidly hitting yourself, while your Doctor heals you with his Medigun.
  • You can add several extra jumps as a side product of the 'hit yourself' stat, providing extra mobility for the cost of health. As this weapon's self-damage takes out around a third of your health, and you can already triple jump for less risk with weapons such as the Atomizer and the Lupara DB, the risk is usually not worth it.
  • This weapon is best advised to be used at the start of a battle. This will make it easier to defeat enemies due to the bleed damage eventually killing your opponent if they run or you die.
  • It is not recommended to use the Brooklyn Basher with less than 43 health, as hitting yourself is lethal and should only be done as a last resort option.
  • Hitting yourself with this weapon will launch you upwards, getting yourself into a worse position if you're in the middle of a fight. Make sure to use your double jump to relocate into a more advantageous position, whether it is to get closer to your target or retreating.
  • Agents will have a hard time trying to battle you, your bleed effect will uncover their cloak and you will be able to defeat them easily. However, it is still advised to keep your distance from them as they can perform a trickstab if you're not careful.
