The Time Capsule is a special crate-styled item that was obtainable from two measures in the Battle Pass. It appears as a white heavy-duty capsule with side mounted buttons.
The Time Capsule can give the opener an Unusual or Strange-quality variant of a cosmetic that was added prior to A "Heavy" Update, at the same rates as it would in a standard crate, specifically, 1 in 100 and 1 in 20, respectively.

- The Time Capsule no longer grants duplicates of cosmetics the user already owns, unless they already have all of it's contents.
October 1, 2022
- The Time Capsule is no longer obtainable, however players who started the individual pass before are still able to obtain it. (Undocumented)
July 14, 2023 (The Update with Patches And Content)
- The Time Capsule is now completely unobtainable. (Undocumented)
Trivia[]
- Prior to the July 14, 2022 patch, if any items in the Time Capsule's pool were obtained prior to its addition, a duplicate Vintage-quality variant will be added to the player's inventory.
- The Time Capsule was the first crate not to give out duplicate cosmetics.
