The Unsound Mind is a cosmetic for Mechanic that can be obtained through the Daily Shop or the discontinued Halloween 2023 Costume Crate. It is a concept of the Mechanic taken over by his boss counterpart, Mad Mechanic.

When worn, his signature clothing is partially drenched in purple and one of his overall straps is undone. He also has a pair of round glasses clipped to his left pocket.

This cosmetic includes unique faces, where the Mechanic now has creasing eyes, and a portion of his mouth is half-opened.

The clips on the overalls can be painted using Paint Cans.
