[ Heheh, don't lose your head now!
―Marksman activating the 'Focus' meter.
]

The Urban Upriser is a primary weapon for the Marksman. It is a suppressed, bulky grey sniper rifle with some elements from the Heckler & Koch SMG11.

It has a 'Focus' meter which is built by dealing damage. Pressing the reload key while at full 'Focus' will activate it (playing a "speed up" sound), increasing the weapon's charge rate by 25% and will no longer unscope after firing. As a downside, it deals 12% less damage.

When it is fired, the noise produced will be significantly quieter, due to the suppressor it has. If an enemy is successfully killed with a headshot, their head will be decapitated and will not make any hurt sounds or screams.

Like all sniper rifles except the Poacher's Pride, it will deal 20% less damage if it hits a target less than 40 studs away from you.

Tips[]

  • When you activate your Focus meter, make sure you're in a good camping spot. You'll want to make sure that you can make full use of your Focus and not have it rudely interrupted by a Flanker or Agent.
    • To be 100% sure, use the Camper's Climber to find a more secured spot.
    • You can try using the Razorback to stand a better chance against Agents while Focus is active.
  • The Urban Upriser is a silent killer. When an enemy is killed, their head falls off and they don't scream loudly.
    • While it's officially listed as a note, it's actually a hidden upside. You can kill a Doctor who's currently healing a teammate, and that player will think the Doctor just stopped healing them and went to heal someone else.
  • A -12% damage penalty may sound like it's not a big deal, but this means that you can no longer kill a fully-overhealed Brute with a headshot.
    • However, 320 damage is enough to headshot-snipe a Brute who is not overhealed. Make sure your target doesn't have a Doctor healing them first.
  • This weapon pairs well with the Cozy Camper while Focus is active. Since your charge fills up 25% faster, the Cozy Camper will guarantee you won't miss any of your Focus-shots if you get attacked from afar (without it, you flinch when attacked, which will make you miss your shots).
  • You can try throwing out some Lemonade out on a group of enemies before activating your Focus, which will hopefully help you secure more kills.
