The votekick feature allows you to call a vote on a teammate to kick them off the server. Kicked players cannot rejoin the server they were kicked from but can still play on other servers. The votekick menu can be found above the GRN team on the team selection screen, accessed by pressing M.

Players can only initiate votekicks if they are level 50 or above and have at least 5 other players in the server. Players can only votekick players who are on their team.

Once initiated, a menu will show to all players on the vote starter's team to vote whether or not the selected player will be kicked from the server, they can vote by either pressing O to kick or P to not kick. The text "[Vote Starter] wants to kick [Target Player] for [Vote Reason]." will be displayed in the in-game chat.

Votekicks last for 18 hours or until the server is restarted if you were to be kicked from a community server.

Intended Reasons for Votekicking[]

  • Kicking someone for using any kind of exploits.
  • Kicking someone for abusing some type of glitch.
  • Kicking someone for being AFK (Away From Keyboard) for a long time.
    • A bonus from kicking an AFK teammate is that the game will (probably) make an auto-balance, forcing a more active player on the opposite team to play for yours.
  • Kicking someone for intentionally disrupting games (e.g. taking a class slot and not playing the game, aiding the enemy team, etc.)
    • Enemies can steal Brute's lunchbox items to heal themselves, but a Brute can intentionally give food to the enemy team, which is a common example of intentionally disrupting games.
  • Kicking someone for sending inappropriate messages in the chat.
  • Kicking someone for excessive toxicity.
  • Kicking someone for false votekicking.

Votekick Abuse[]

Votekick abusing is the form of manipulating the votekick system in your favor and kicking players who have not done anything wrong. If you were reported for votekick abuse, you may be banned for one month for any regular form of abusing it, such as kicking a player you don't like. However, if you were to kick someone for "not being friendly" - or otherwise, kicking a player for playing a certain way that isn't affecting the rest of the server - your ban will be extended to three months.

Be warned that votekicking people you do not like or forcing a votekick against someone for seemingly no reason is a bad idea. Never fall for peer pressure with others, be mindful, and votekick people who you are certain are cheating. It is often best to say in the chat before or after initiating a votekick as to what your intentions are so others can communicate with you.
