The Witches Brew is a secondary weapon for the Flanker. It is a soda beverage with a witch as its logo.

Upon consumption, it increases the user's movement speed by 25%, increasing the Flanker's movement speed from 25 studs/second to 31.25 studs/second, as well as dealing and taking mini-crits which takes 22 seconds to recharge. While this effect is active, the user will have team-colored skull icon above him, which can be seen through walls.

Tips

  • The biggest tip to remember about the Witches Brew is that fights will end a lot faster.
    • This applies to both the user and the opponent. You will be able to deal mini-crits, but your opponent can too because you're "Marked for Death".
    • Because of this, you'll have to make the most of your +25% speed boost to be able to dodge attacks.
  • Find a good hiding spot that's near the main battle before drinking the Witches Brew.
    • If you don't, you're going to die very quickly since the drinking animation leaves you open to attacks.
  • Keep in mind that this is mostly a team-based weapon. This means that ultimately, this weapon will benefit your team more than you.
    • If you can deal enough mini-crit damage before you die, your teammates can finish the job.
  • Although this item gives you a speed boost it's not a good idea to use it as a tool to get to the frontlines faster, a projectile can kill or heavily damage you before you can do anything. Unless you know that the mini-crits will run out before you reach the frontlines after drinking it, do not do this.
  • This weapon pairs extremely well with the Lupara DB if used against classes focused on close-range combat and other Flankers, as you can output more damage while also keeping a safe distance from your enemy.
  • This item is best used when flanking, when the opponents are unaware of your position, allowing you to deal mini-crit damage without them knowing you were there, essentially negating the taking mini-crit damage downside.
  • Using this item while with your team is a horrible idea. This alerts the other team about where your team is due to the skull icon, giving the enemies an advantage. Try to use this item when none of your teammates are around.
  • If you're not confident with hitting your shots, try to go near the enemy while in its effect. Although you might die, damage is key to your team winning. This also might occasionally make Troopers or Annihilators blow themselves up.

Trivia

  • The 2018 model was a retextured RedBLOX Soda Model.
  • Previously, drinking this would play the Poison Dance, which was popularized by Fortnite as the "Default Dance". This was likely due to a lack of an actual drinking animation.
    • Also previously, drinking this would play Brute's eating animation but faster.
  • Despite this item being remodeled, the Soda Popper still uses the original 2018 model under the barrel.
