[ You couldn't hit the side of a god damn barn!
―Trooper, raging at his new invention.
]

The Wrecker's Yard is a primary weapon for the Trooper. It is a crudely constructed rocket launcher made entirely from pipes. Two mismatched handles form the grips of the launcher and the weapon itself is held together with fastening bands, rings and wires. A grey funnel is attached to the back as an exhaust port, and a small wooden stick topped with a grey cylinder serves as a makeshift sight.

Unlike the Trooper's other primary weapons, the weapon starts with 0 rounds in its clip. Pressing and holding down primary fire causes the player to begin loading rockets into the launcher. When primary fire is released, the Trooper fires all rockets stored in succession at a rate 70% faster than any other rocket launchers; each rocket fires with a maximum spread of 3 degrees with three rockets loaded, but zero spread at just one rocket. Each rocket fired has a 20% smaller blast radius compared to the stock rockets.

The player can load up to three rockets in this way; attempting to load a fourth will cause an explosion, damaging the player and anyone around them.

Tips

  • The Wrecker's Yard is another "pre-load" weapon, which means it needs to be filled with ammo (by holding down the primary-fire button) before it can fire. This is the exact opposite of a regular weapon where the ammo just waits to be shot with a single tap of the primary-fire button.
    • This can be used to fight off any enemies that ambush you. The stock Rocket Launcher will only scare them off, but all three rockets of the Wrecker's Yard will kill them.
    • Make sure you load in your rockets before turning that corner to the "main fight". If you don't, you'll be a sitting duck to enemies and quickly get wiped out.
  • Remember that there's no damage penalty on the Wrecker's Yard. It does the same amount of damage as the stock Rocket Launcher. And when you can release three rockets really quickly? Imagine the destruction!
  • Because the Wrecker's Yard rockets have smaller explosions, your aim will have to be on point for all the rockets to land.
  • You can rocket-jump with this weapon, but just know that using more than one rocket will give you a lot less health to fight with when you land.
  • You can use the overload from the fourth rocket loaded to rocket jump mid-air, opening the door to incredible mobility and damage as you maintain all three rockets in your clip.
  • Because the Wrecker's Yard uses up a lot of ammo quickly, you'll need to remember where all the ammo boxes are on the map you're playing on.
  • Be very careful when fighting Arsonists. Believe it or not, airblasts actually last for more than a second, which is enough time to send at least two of those rockets back at you.
  • A good amount of Trooper's other weapons pair well with the Wrecker's Yard:
    • Because you're more likely to lose health from your own rockets than from enemies, try using the Equalizer or Escape Plan to give you a better chance at surviving fights while at low health.
    • The Gunboats allow for increased mobility with its resistance to damage taken from blast jumping
    • The Mantreads provide a faster reload speed, making it quite useful for a weapon that requires constant reloading
